After the great Snack Box, Vegan Cuts came up with other winner box, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare
When I first received my April Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, I was so excited to see the kinds of products they offered. As a past subscriber to BirchBox, my standards were kind of high. Upon opening it, I was disappointed with the amount of skin products that were sent, as my skin is very sensitive and I hoped there would be more makeup. However, I was impressed with the quality of the products.
The first product I tried was the Montagne Jeunesse Green Tea Peel Off. As stated early, I have extremely sensitive skin, so I proceeded with caution. After no redness in my test spot, I dove in and applied the mask. Twenty minutes later, and it was time to review the results. As I peeled away, I thought to myself “Please don’t be red. Please don’t be red”. Imagine my surprise when I peeled to reveal soft skin with my previous redness and blotchiness actually reduced. While I probably wouldn’t use this product every week, it is a great skin refresher that I’d consider using once a month.
Another product I really liked was the GlamNatural lipgloss. The subtly of the color was awesome. Unlike most lipgloss, this one had shea butter, so it actually moisturized my lips instead of drying them out.
My favorite product of all was the VB Cosmetics Dazzle Dry, a quick-drying topcoat that almost baffled me with how well it worked. 30 seconds after putting it on, my nail polish was perfectly dry. I was even able to cook! Because I’m too impatient to wait for my nails to dry and end up ruining them, this product was perfect for me.
Overall, I think Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is worth it and would definitely recommend it. With 5 or 6 high-quality, cruelty-free products to sample, it is a low cost way to try out new products on the market and see what works best for you.
