I keep recipes for my almost 1 year old pretty simple. They are usually just steamed veggies, grains, and fruit with different add ins. I think simple is best, especially for that age.
So here is a sample of one of his dinners:
Just cut up melon and keep stored in refrigerator.
Cook 2 cups of orzo according to instructions, while that cooks heat up 1 tsp. of coconut oil in a pan and saute 1/2 cup of chopped red and green peppers. Once orzo and peppers are finished, add them together along with 1 tbs. chia seeds.
Slice 4 baby zucchinis and 1 cup of baby bella mushrooms. Place those in a steamer for 10 minutes. Sprinkle oregano over the mixture when it’s done.
