However there is no need to be alarmed, as this indulgent breakfast bowl is all natural, vegan, gluten-free, and can easily be served without any additional sweeteners.
It’s a delight to wake up to, and is worth preparing simply for the chocolate-y aroma it leaves lingering.

Vegan Nutella Porridge
1/2 cup oats
1 cup hazelnut milk
1 tbsp crushed hazelnuts
2 tsp cacao powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1) Place oats, milk, hazelnuts, cacao and vanilla in a medium saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer, stirring consistently for 3-5 mins.
2) If you want a thicker consistency, leave over a low heat for a few minutes longer, otherwise remove from heat and spoon into a serving bowl.
3) Serve warm and feel free to top with a few extra hazelnuts, cacao nibs or a light drizzle of maple syrup (if desired).
